Investment Admin Associate - Cash Operations

Working in the Operations team you will manage the widest available range of ISAs and SIPPs.  

The Role

Our operations department are looking to fill an Investment Administration Associate role within the Cash Operations team.

 

The main responsibilities of the role will be to provide assistance to this sub team of the Investment Administration team, ensuring that all work is processed and quality checked on the same day. The successful applicant will be reporting into the Cash Operations Team Leader and will be responsible for the day to day administration within the team.

 

This is an opportunity for somebody who is looking to move their career into the operational aspect of the business and who has a passion for process improvement and providing improved customer service for our expanding client base.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Monitoring payment receipts to ensure all information has been received to allow the cash to be allocated within 10 business days
  • Processing any client or third party withdrawals including adviser fees, ensuring they are processed and paid as per the internal SLA
  • Processing account transfers to other providers
  • Liaising with transfer managers to chase outstanding transfer documentation
  • SIPP payroll processing
  • Completing the daily AUDDIS upload and monthly direct debit collection runs

Skills and Experience required

At least 6-12 months experience in a similar administration based role in the financial services industry.

  • An understanding of the products offered – ISAs and SIPPs mainly. An understanding of the regulations involved with these accounts would be very beneficial.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in an organised manner.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Self-reliant and a good problem solver.
