You will be responsible for the day to day running of the busy Cash Operations team, including the management and oversight of the daily work processed within the team, supporting the Team Leader to lead and develop the team and ensuring the team are working collaboratively and successfully at all times.
Managing and leading the Cash Operations team
Supporting the Team Leader and Senior Associate to ensure all BAU issues are resolved
Play a key role in the Operations Management group and provide cover for other managers where required.
Attend the fortnightly CASS Working Group to ensure your teams processes remain CASS compliant.
Sign off any process improvements that have been developed within your team.
Sign off all procedure reviews on a regular basis.
Support the business in all internal and external audits.
Support the Head of Operations for any projects that have been delegated to you to own.
Provide weekly MI for your area which should be communicated internally and externally where required.
Skills and Experience required
Experience of working within Financial Services is essential
Previous experience either as a Cash Ops Manager or team lead position
Awareness of the CASS rules and how the rules impact daily processes is desirable
Proven communication skills both written and verbal
Management experience would be desirable
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including strong Excel knowledge
